Sheryl Underwood is a American comedian, TV host and actress who is famous for hosting the popular daytime talk show The Talk. Sheryl Underwood was a native of Arkansas and raised In Little Rock, Atwater and Atwater. Sheryl comes from a family with a number of troubles. She spent most of her growing up taking care of her sister Frankie who suffered from polio. As a teenager, she faced many difficulties with her mother. In 1992she made her TV debut with regular appearances on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She hosted the television show Oh Drama! in 2000. She has appeared as host of The Talk since 2011. She's been in shows including Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
