Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton escaped the struggles that shaped her life at an early age thanks to her inventive and innovative imagination. Before she could read or write she wrote herself songs. In 8 years, she got her first guitar. At age 11 when she was 11, she began singing at Knoxville Tenn's local radio station. In the following time, Gold Band Records was an independent label. Although she became a local star while in High School, she knew her dreams were greater. She moved to Nashville following her graduation in 1964. Dumb Blonde was her first record to chart on Monument Records. Porter Wagoner had been looking for a female singer for his show that was syndicated at this point. Parton began her career in 1967 she signed with RCA Records by 1968, and became a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Parton quit the Wagoner's band in 1974 after her own hits like Joshua Coat of Many Colors & Jolene oversold her collaborations. Parton recorded I Will Always love You in honor of Wagoner in the aftermath of their breakup. It reached number one. #1 for the first time since 1974.
