Torrie Wilson

Torrie Anne Wilson (born July 24 1975) is an American professional wrestler who was also a model. Wilson is most well-known for her involvement in World Wrestling Entertainment, formerly called the World Wrestling Federation. She was also an official Miss Galaxy competitor in 1999. [1][8] She was soon accepted by World Championship Wrestling which is where she remained until 2000. [2][7][8] In 2001 her appearances on World Wrestling Federation television were part of The Invasion (a WCW storyline, which was then called the [then] WWF). The most memorable stories were from 2002, where she was battling Dawn Marie. [5][9] In 2003, she teamed up together with Sable. Wilson was also member of the stable comprised entirely of females (i.e., a group of storyline-related characters), known as Vince's Devils, which ended its run in 2006.Aside from wrestling prowess, Wilson has been on the covers of various magazines such as FHM as well as Playboy (which Wilson posed for twice, with one featuring both Wilson and Sable).Wilson was admitted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019 and her first time in wrestling began when she was at an World Championship Wrestling (WCW) show with her boyfriend in 1999. [7][8][9] After going backstage after the show, she was asked to leave the ring along with Scott Steiner. Seven Kevin Nash later expressed interest in a storyline. [5][7][9] It was her first appearance on the Nitro show's February 8 1999 episode (later called "Samantha") The storyline revealed that Wilson was recruited to seduce David Flair by the New World Order. They were seen together on February 21 at SuperBrawl IX when Wilson slapped Ric, and David attacked Ric with a taser. [15] Following the time that Ric won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship from Hollywood Hogan at Uncensored inside the Barbed Wire Steel Cage match, David and Wilson took some time off from WCW TV in April before returning in May to accompany David to the ring for matches. In 1999, at the Bash at the Beach, Wilson acted as the valet for Flair in his successful defense of the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Dean Malenko.
